TomCo was established in the late 1970s by Tom Terning and Rick Oliver. The company specialized in designing custom sidecars for individuals using wheelchairs. These sidecars enable operators to control the motorcycle from the side. Each unit was crafted to meet the customer's individual specifications and preferences.
This particular unit is equipped with a steering wheel and a left-side lever used to operate the throttle and brakes. The ramp is controlled via a switch located on the dashboard; however, it is currently disconnected.
