Genuine Kawasaki SM-2 Factory Service Manual Includes supplement for CDI Ignition The front cover shows some wear and tear and staining. There are a few small tears on the front cover, as shown. There are grease stains and other stains here and there from use. The last pages (a couple of wiring diagrams and the supplement) are stuck together. We did not try to "un-stick" them, as we did not want to cause more damage. The last page of where the supplement is appears to have been ripped. The rear cover is also stained, and has a few tears, as well. Good, complete manual. You will want to reinforce the holes on a couple of pages and stick them back into the binder. This manual has its challenges, but if you need a manual for these motorcycles, this is it. (if you need the supplement, take apart at your own risk) This manual is designed primarily for use by motorcycle mechanics in a properly equipped shop, although it contains enough detail and basic information to make it useful to the motorcycle user who desires to carry out his own basic maintenance and repairs. We recommend changing out all of the petcocks on our restorations to the Pingel unit. Here we have the single-outlet, used because of the clearance with the side cover. The Z1 originally came with a 2-outlet petcock. We offer a Z1 fuel line kit for this unit, P/N:35-6311

FRAME# JKAKZBB14CAO12810 ENG# KZ8T10BE012738 Purchased this basket case GPZ along with a Kawasaki Z1. This came from an estate, and it came in boxes. The frame does not appear to be bent. The originals sticker is on the frame and we have a title with this bike. Crank feels okay, probably should be inspected. 18" rear wheel is complete with rotor and sprocket carrier. Rim is nice and straight, not bent. Rear inner fender is intact, with electrical connections. Side stand, 19" wheel is complete and rim is not bent. Cylinder head no broken fins but incomplete, only one cam cap and no cams. Exhaust studs look nice, fuel injection looks good, combustion chambers look good. Fuel injection unit, air box, (only one air box side over), we think the front sprocket cover is correct, brake parts, extra caliper, tail light, handlebars, (one may be bent), mirror, fuel sending unit, gauge, sprocket, ignition switch with key, clutch push rod (bent). See video for details. Sold as shown. Low cost shipping available. FRAME HAS BEEN SOLD, ALONG WITH SWING ARM

Front end fork assembly with wheel. We recently purchased a small warehouse of parts. This is in decent shape, front fender has some warping from storage. Front wheel is not bent. Tire looks okay. Not the original tire. Not a lot of miles on the front end. Front brakes are not working. Throttle housing still good. Has throttle lock. Sold as complete setup or will part out. Low cost shipping available upon request. Location: Gravestone Building

Bike does run. Seat needs recovered 52,000 miles changed oil, filter and spark plugs. 1000 LTD carbs. No broken fins on cylinder or head. Could be a good motor for another police bike or street bike. Doesn’t smoke, could use some tuning. Tachometer and Speedometer are not working. Runs rough. Transmission is good, has all the gears. Goes into gear nicely, doesn’t seem to smoke. Charging system seems to be over-charging; regulator/rectifier is bad, but it is putting out of the stator, so it probably has a good flywheel. Side covers have tab broken off both right and left. We believe these to be original paint. Gas tank has rust inside. Fairing has the bracket on front and some extra holes where equipment has been mounted. Please give us a call with your needs.
