Engine turns over nicely and transmission shifts through all gears. Connecting rod feels good. Crank bearings feel as they should. Shifter shaft has been cut, as shown. We inspected the cases and they appear to be in good shape, except there is some slop on the left crank bearing side. We recommend some epoxy before use. There are some chain marks, as shown. Serial Number KAE-71784 According to this number it fits a 1973 H1 500 Location: Farm -

We restored this bike for the customer about 15 years ago from the ground up. He never rode it and we subsequently purchased it from him. This bike was done back when NOS parts were readily available. Front wheel is NOS. Front fender has some slight damage as shown. We installed an extra fuel valve. Transmission has high / low gearing feature. Runs very nice. Everything works. 3412 miles, comes with clean title. Great bike for display. Great to bring along camping, not too loud. This wheel came with a load of Triumph parts. We are not Triumph experts, so we are moving these on. Backing plate looks good. Axle intact, guts are complete. Hub cap is in rough shape.
