This bike was rescued from the scrap pile. Selling for parts only. No title. 20,444 miles. Motor turns over only 180 degrees--possible bent valve. Throttle is locked up. Seat is in bad shape, as shown. Missing left side cover, Gas tank is missing the key. Motor has been painted, paint is coming off. 6-into-1 header. Head is most likely good, as well as cylinders. Fork tubes are nice, headlight stays and bucket are in solid condition. We are not KZ1300 experts, so we're looking for a new home for this bike. Many hard to find parts. Motor is stuck, missing tank, missing side covers, pipes are rusted through on bottom. Seat pan is rusty with holes. Missing point cover. Missing some airbox parts. No broken fins. Many parts are in common with the 77-78 Kawasaki KZ1000A LTD. Triple clamps would be slightly different offset. Meters, master cylinder and switches aren't too bad. Kick starter okay, we are getting the points cover and right side cover polished. (not shown in photos). Chain guard pretty good. Intake manifolds are junk, dyna cover has been scratched, seat lock is bad, side covers are okay. Wiring harness must be tested. Seat lock is bad. Engine turns over nicely and transmission shifts through all gears. Connecting rod feels good. Crank bearings feel as they should. Shifter shaft has been cut, as shown.
